My Kinect Review

Many video game enthusiasts have long wanted to experience a more "intense" video game playing experience that relies less upon the manipulation of a joystick or other controller and more on the natural movement of one's body.

As you can imagine, this would seem to be a nearly impossible scenario...controlling the events within a video game in a 3D manner using your body? Yet that's exactly what the Kinect Sensor enables video game players to do.

When you really stop and think about the evolution of video games, much has been said about the way in which gaming consoles have evolved as well as the way in which the realism inside of the gaming environment itself has evolved.

However, until very recently there has not really been as much evolutionary development as it relates to the manner in which a videogame player interacts with the game itself. This largely changed when the Nintendo Wii was introduced. It enables players to interact with various games in a far more dynamic manner. The Kinect Sensor is the next step forward in this evolutionary process. You no longer actually have to have something in your hand to successfully play a videogame that is designed to work with the Kinect Sensor. You may be wondering whether or not this technology merits your serious consideration, or if it is still too new and in need of upgrades before you should seriously consider investing in it yourself.

The simple fact of the matter is that the overwhelming majority of people who have had the opportunity to play with the Kinect Sensor will tell you that it's actually one of the most technically sophisticated and fun things to play with.

For many people who have never utilized a system like this in the past, it can initially seem very challenging and difficult to understand the dynamics that govern the way the games themselves are played.

However, once you have given yourself the opportunity to really try the Kinect Sensor, you will quickly come to the realization that it represents a breakthrough in video game technology. But the question that remains in the minds of most people is whether or not the cost is justified.

The simple fact of the matter is that if you are somebody who truly does enjoy playing video games, you absolutely owe it to yourself to upgrade the technology utilized to enjoy the experience. To that end, investing in a Kinect Sensor is the very best choice you can make.
