White Knight Chronicles II Preview

This game White Knight Chronicles II seems that it may overcome the problems White Knight Chronicles had. This game was released in 2010 and was a game I was really excited for before Final Fantasy XIII. White Knight Chronicles had a few issues in the game that made it less enjoyable and WKC II hopes to improve greatly upon.

The White Knight Chronicles II story starts one year after the events of its predecessor. Leonard and his team return to take down the enemies of the first game once and for all. It's been revealed that there will be some element of time travel in the game as well, which could be a nice addition as time travel seems to make things interesting. I absolutely loved the time travel element in the old Rpg "Chrono Trigger." on Super Nintendo. I hope the time travel system in White Knight Chronicles II will add a lot of value to the game.

The battle system has been improved with taking out the long wait times in between attacks that the first game had as this was a very annoying part of the game. The maps were very large in the first game as well and there was a lot of backtracking on maps. The maps are still large in the second game but an easy transportation method as been added for extra convenience. The issues with the avatar should be fixed as well, and he won't appear awkwardly in the background of every cinema with a strange look on his face. The avatar will also be able equipped with their own Ark Knight they can turn into in a battle and transform as Leonard and other characters could in the first game.

White Knight Chronicles II is going to have much better graphics as well. A great feature this game comes with though is a remade version of the first game with all the improvements that the sequel has, including the improved battle system and better graphics. You are able to transfer your save data from the original game, or the remade version before playing the second game. You can even jump straight into the second game if you haven't played the first but that would seem kind of silly sense this game comes with the first in it. White Knight Chronicles II is showing a lot of promise and seems like it may overcome the problems its predecessor had and should be a great RPG game.
